Franklin School welcomes youngest students with ice cream social
Franklin. Franklin School’s youngest students kicked off the new school year with ice cream, activities and an opportunity to meet classmates during the annual Ice Cream Social.

Franklin School welcomed incoming and returning Pre-K and kindergarten students Aug. 21 with its annual Ice Cream Social, giving families an opportunity to connect before the new school year begins.
The event brought students and families together at the Outdoor Classroom near the auditorium entrance for ice cream, conversation and activities.
The gathering gave children an opportunity to reconnect with friends, meet classmates and become familiar with the school community before classes begin.
Families also had a chance to meet one another and establish connections ahead of the new school year.
The annual event is held to help Franklin School’s youngest students feel comfortable and connected as they prepare to enter the classroom.
The ice cream social was hosted with support from the Franklin Borough PTO and provided a relaxed way for students to build friendships and get ready for the school year.
