Space, Silverthorne win county commissioners race

Three candidates ran for two open seats on the Sussex County Board of Commissioners. According to unoffial results, Jill Space and David Silverthorne were elected, and will serve three-year terms.
As of press time, total votes were as follows:
Philip DeStefano (D): 23,760
David Silverthorne (R): 33,695
Jill Space (incumbent, R): 39,556
All results are unofficial until certified by the Board of Elections.
