Maribyrd’s smooth acoustic blend sets the tone for a relaxing evening at 6 p.m. at the Lafayette House, 75 Route 15.

The iconic Jefferson Starship celebrates its 50th Anniversary Tour with a show at 8 p.m. at the Newton Theatre, 234 Spring St. With a legacy that includes platinum records and a global touring history, the band continues to channel the late Paul Kantner’s spirit of musical adventure through a lineup of seasoned musicians who deliver a high-powered rock experience night after night. Also at 8 p.m., singer-songwriter Rory D’Lasnow brings his raw, emotionally rich set to Krogh’s Restaurant & Brew Pub, 23 White Deer Plaza, Sparta. Known for his upside-down guitar style and heartfelt lyrics, D’Lasnow has captivated audiences from coast to coast.

The Wrecks take over the Beacon, 453 River Styx Road, Hopatcong, with their high-energy rock show starting at 8 p.m. and promising a night of loud, unapologetic fun.

Erika Sherger brings her folksy charm to Angry Erik Brewing, 2 Camre Drive, Newton, at 4 p.m.

At 6 p.m., Jeiris Cook brings his smooth, soulful sound to the Lafayette House, infusing the evening with heartfelt melodies and R&B influences.

If you’re craving classic rock energy, head over to Milk Street Distillery, 1 Milk St., Branchville, at 7 p.m. to catch Raw Deal delivering its signature sound.

At 8 p.m., the Newton Theatre welcomes Sugar Mountain, a tribute band that beautifully recreates the music of Neil Young, from Buffalo Springfield to Crazy Horse. Featuring a tight-knit group of seasoned New Jersey musicians, this show promises to satisfy both casual listeners and die-hard Neil Young fans.

O’Reilly’s Pub’s early Cinco de Mayo celebration features DJ Martha, giveaways and festive drink specials, starting at 9 p.m.

Danny C’s Hot Rod Cruise Night & Concert Series returns to Blue Arrow Farm, 86 Glenwood Road, Pine Island, N.Y., starting at 4 p.m. with live music by One Night Only. The weekly tradition rolls on rain or shine, uniting classic cars with timeless tunes.

For more midweek fun, swing by the Homestead Rest, 294 N. Church Road, Sparta, at 6:30 p.m. and belt out your favorite hits during a lively karaoke night hosted by Ray Sikora.

The Homestead Rest hosts an acoustic open mic night at 6 p.m., with sign-ups beginning at 5:30 p.m. It’s a great chance to hear local talent or jump on stage yourself.
