Thank you to Hardyston officers

I want to thank two Hardyston police officers that came to my house after a bad fall that broke my ankle and gave me an additional concussion. I had assumed wrongly that we had a rain storm, but it was a bad ice storm. I was on the ground some 40 feet from house, and, I tried yelling for help, and started crawling up the dirt hill and driveway, and was near my deck, when I knew for sure I broke my ankle. My wife heard my calls, and called the police, and within minutes the first policeman helped me up the deck, and soon a second arrived.

I was in great pain, and the first officer calmed me down, and made me laugh, as he fell, too. Soon the Milton Ambulance from Jefferson Township arrived with the second Hardyston policeman. They set up some sled — police and ambulance — and got me down, and got me to Chilton for surgery. I had climbed on by stomach to get, as far as, I did earlier, but the work of the two policemen, and theambulance from Milton was indeed Herculean, and I could never thank them enough. I do not remember names, as I took a hard hit on the ground — ground finished with a dent, and head had a headache.

Hardyston needs its own ambulance system again, but its two police officers were top shelf in my book. God bless, all!
