Sparta’s Antis

Saturdays noon at many Main Street corners,

Gather the Anti-vaccine and Mask mourners.

Shouting at passing cars and waving dire signs,

They implore their emotional feelings sublime.

Our call to arms to passionately disagree,

Because their belief differs from you and me.

But PAUSE, they are human doing the best they can,

We are all raw material since life began.

Our childhoods, traumas, and unknown stories,

Form our opinions and create our histories.

We need take time and understand each other,

To work at learning how to trust one another.

Through-out communities in our fair land,

Conflict must resolve in Peace or Chaos will command.
