Veteran's Day Visitor at Rev. Brown School

Jonathan Faherty’s eighth-grade social studies classes at Rev. Brown School in Sparta had the opportunity to hear about the Civil War from a “real soldier.” On Veterans Day, Tom and Pam Brown of the 15th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry portrayed a Civil War soldier and his wife. This provided a real life perspective of the war and that time period which excited the children.
