High Point High School Junior Prom creates instant memories, By Keri Rand Stretch limos flooded the streets of Wantage, Frankford and Lafayette carrying prom-going students dressed to the nines in layers of crinoline and classic tuxes. Students gathered in the rain to take pictures and pile into party buses, limos and town cars on Friday May 1, headed for the Birchwood Manor in Whippany, where the annual High Point High junior prom was set. According to reports after the big event, a good time was had by all. “I had so much fun at prom,” said Katie Dispenziere, a junior. “It was put together so nicely and it will be a prom to remember.” She announced that it “greatly exceeded my expectations.” “Prom was absolutely amazing and probably the best time I’ve ever had,” said Kayeleigh Mallon. “It was an experience I will never forget.”
