Troop 389 needs more Scouts

Troop 389 out of Highland Lakes and Barry Lakes needs members from ages 10 to 17 desperately. If you are thinking about Scouting, please consider Troop 389. This troop was started by Bob Hojer in the early to mid-1980s. There are many of us that are still local, who were from the original troop. Mr. Hojer has asked for my help to get some kids involved in Troop 389. So I am reaching out to all the local parents out there. Meetings are every Monday at the Barry Lakes Clubhouse from 7 to 8:30 p.m. There is no commitment at the first meeting. Please come and see what Scouting is all about. I have decided to become a Troop Leader so I will be there for you and your kids. All I am asking is that you come and check it out. If you’re interested shoot me an e-mail at Prkranger7@aol.com and I will give you whatever info you require. Please don’t let this be Troop 389’s last year.
