Vernon The Vernon Town Managers’s office has agreed to take on the responsibility of finding a full-time manager to replace recently departed Manager Melinda Carlton. Robin Kline, township clerk, is serving as acting manager in addition to her other work. The office will advertise for the position and review resumes. “Perhaps by summer the search can be done,” Kline said. Town Council authorized at its Feb. 11 meeting for a budget of $100 for advertising, which would include advertising with the League of Municipalities. They described the job of handling the two positions by Kline as a “heroic” undertaking.
