BARKS On Saturday, Dec. 5, have your pet’s photo taken with Santa at PetSmart (International Trade Center, Mt. Olive). Pet pictures with Santa are $9.95, or $8.95 with your PetPerks card. BARKS will also be there offering pet adoptions from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. On Saturday, Dec. 12, stop by Pet Goods (10 Commerce Boulevard, Roxbury) between 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for more BARKS pet adoptions BARKS’ November feature pet is Ollie, an active kitty who was born in a rock wall in March after his mom was abandoned. He is very affectionate and has a beautiful fluffy tail. Ollie gets along with other cats, is neutered/microchipped, and up-to-date on shots. Noah’s Ark Animal Welfare Association Squeek was surrendered to Noah’s Ark with three of her littermates. She is a very sweet and needs a loving, patient family. She would even do well in a home with dogs and children. Squeek is front declawed. Wishbone is a sweet, goofy, oversized pup. Wishbone does very well with other dogs and is excellent with children. He is very eager to please, so he will train easily once he is met with some consistency. No one can resist his big silly eyes. Second Chance Pet Adoption League Owen is a cute one year-old purebred mini schnauzer rescued from an area shelter. He is a spunky, playful guy who will make a great companion for someone who appreciates this special breed. Owen is neutered and up-to-date on shots. Ida is a sweet, small older mixed breed who was taken to a shelter when her owner passed away. She is housebroken and well-mannered, and will make a great companion.
