Thank you, You're a good Scout

Last Saturday I picked up a package at the Post Office and strapped it onto my motorcycle. On my way up Holland Mountain Road, one of the bungees let loose and the package fell off. I walked the length from Route 23 to Lake Stockholm three times looking for it. Evidently, some kind soul saw it and picked it up. They then either returned it to the Post Office or delivered it themselves to my street mailbox on Monday. As an adult Scouter I try to obey the Scout Law and be helpful, kind, friendly and to also “Do a Good Turn Daily.” In these times of road rage and “Black Friday” tramplings it really feels good to be on the receiving end of an act of kindness for a change.
