Teen can focus on art Friday

Wantage — The Sussex-Wantage Library will be host an art-filled Teen Arts Night on Friday, Feb. 26 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. in the Library Community Room. Local artist and Vernon High School art teacher Lisa Hirkaler is running the event. She’ll be guiding a workshop in which teens can create layered art with the help of written lyrics and frames. If possible, students are asked to bring a 5x7 or 8x10 picture frame. Frames and other materials will also be supplied at the workshop. Free refreshments will be served. Teens can register for the workshop at the Sussex-Wantage Library front desk, or by calling the library at 973-875-3940.
