Tea for two

Ryan Barnes of the Clifton E. Lawrence School in Wantage pours a cup of tea for his mother Lynn Barnes at the Preschool First Cup of Tea Social. The event is a celebration of family and friends and held in conjunction with a regional One Book — One Community project where children and adults throughout the Sussex-Wantage, Lafayette, Frankford and Branchville schools are encouraged to read a selected book with the purpose of building a school-community partnership. The book for adults is: “Three Cups of Tea” by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin. The children’s book is “Listen to the Wind, the story of Dr. Greg and Three Cups of Tea.” More information can be found at www.1book.org.
