Take Me Fishing

On Saturday last hundreds of children and their parents gathered at the Sussex County Fair grounds for the "Take Me Fishing" children's fishing derby program which is sponsored by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife. A hatchery tank truck brought a supply of fish and the Division of Fish and Wildlife staff set up an aquarium to display the different species that were to be stocked. Children were then invited to help stock the pond before a horn sounded indication that fishing fun had begun.
