Tai Chi School holds open house

Franklin — Internal Gardens Tai Chi School will hold an open house celebration of the Lantern Festival of Chinese New Year on Sunday, Feb. 28. During the day, visitors can participate in free tai chi mini-workshops and learn about a traditional tai chi school setting. “While I’m not Chinese myself,” said owner and master instructor Loretta Wollering, “I love to honor and share the culture of my deceased tai chi teacher, Master Jou Tsung Hwa.” While the event is geared toward adults, children are welcome, too. Open house begins at noon and there will be free traditional Chinese New Year’s foods and gifts while supplies last. Internal Gardens is located upstairs at 418 Route 23, Suite D in Franklin.
