Sussex Chamber installs chair
Sussex The Sussex County Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 27th year with a dinner dance on Saturday, Jan. 20 at the Lake Mohawk Country Club, and presented the new chair of the board, Suzanne Sowinski of Sowinski Sullivan Architects in Sparta. Educated at the New York Institute of Technology, Sowinski is continuing her education at Boston College in the Master of Architecture program for Sustainable Design. Sowinski’s designs have been recognized in the NY Times, Landscape Architecture, Architectural Record, the New Jersey Herald and most recently, in New York Construction News. She has received awards from the Sussex County Planning Board, the Stone Institute and the International Waterfront Center, and received NJ Businesses “40 Under 40” award for exceptional business people in 2002. Joining her in on the board of trustees are Elenora Benz, attorney at law; Deborah Bifulco, Bifulco, Business Solutions; Ted Brennan, T.M.
