West Milford, Wallkill Valley face off in scrimmage

Wallkill Valley Regional High School hosted the teams that are preparing for the 2016/2017 season which will begin soon.

HAMBURG — West Milford High School took on Wallkill Valley Regional High School in a girls basketball scrimmage on Saturday, Dec. 10. Wallkill Valley Regional High School hosted the teams that are preparing for the 2016/2017 high school season which will begin soon.
Varsity and junior varsity squads engaged in abbreviated quarters. The West Milford Highlanders and the Wallkill Valley Rangers were put through their paces on the court while coaches evaluated the action.
Wallkill Valley will start the regular season at home against Lenape Valley Regional High School on Friday, Dec. 16. The game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. The Wallkill Valley Rangers play in the Northwest Jersey Athletic Conference.
West Milford will start the regular season in an away game in Wayne against Wayne Hills High School on Friday, Dec. 16. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. The West Milford Highlanders play in the Big North Conference.
