On the DVE-TV morning show in June, Gideon Yost interviewed one of Delaware Valley Elementary School’s very own, Peyton Copertino, who had just completed the States gymnastics competition.
She competed in the uneven bars, beam, vault and floor.
She's at Level 2, going onto Level 3. She received four bronze medals and one silver medal, and won second place in the All-Around.
Peyton said she finds bars to be the hardest event to do. She practices three days a week, putting in nine hours every week.
Peyton would recommend gymnastics to other children because it is fun and inspiring.
DVE-TV wishes her luck in her future competitions.
