AUGUSTA — The final day of little league baseball games in Sussex County took place on Sunday, June 15, 2014, at Skylands Stadium.
The day was part of a two-day series of games that began on Saturday featuring local teams.
The games were the first events featured at Skylands Stadium since the venue was brought by new owners recently.
The teams featured on Sunday were Sussex-Wantage, Sparta Junior Indians, Wallkill Valley, two different Kittatinny teams and the Frankford-Branchville Breakers.
Kittatinny defeated Sussex Wantage by the score of 8-4.
The second Kittatinny squad lost to Wallkill Valley by the score of 11-3.
Frankford - Branchville beat the Sparta Junior Indians by the score of 9-7.
