OAK RIDGE — Jefferson Township High School defeated Pope John XXIII Regional High School, from Sparta, in girls varsity field hockey on Thursday, October 13. The final score was 2-0.
Julia Koonjy and Danielle Anthony each scored one goal for Jefferson. Carly Wurster and Samantha Novack each contributed an assist for Jefferson (6-8).
Pope John fell to 1-13-1.
