HAMBURG — The New Jersey FootGolf Open, presented by the American FootGolf League, is the first sanctioned FootGolf tournament in the Northeast and it was held at Crystal Springs in Hamburg this past weekend.
Two sports rolled into one, FootGolf is a hybrid of soccer and golf where individuals compete to kick a soccer ball into oversized cups on the golf course in the fewest number of kicks.
Since Cascades Golf Course opened to FootGolf players in March, the sport has quickly gained momentum as adventurous groups and resort guests test their skills.
