This event also included a straight-drive contest in which golfers competed to be closest to the line on the par-5 11th hole. There was a tie between two golfers, Dennis Byme and Kevin Chiang, who both landed their tee shots on the line.

The participants were competing to qualify in the Crystal Springs Golf Resort Member Appreciation Championship, scheduled for Oct. 9 at the Ballyowen Golf Club.

The tournament featured a putting contest in which the event competitors had two opportunities to make a difficult 50-foot putt on the Wild Turkey putting green. For the third time in a row, the winner of the putting contest was able to hole out his 50-foot putt as documented by a photograph.
