VERNON — Emma Valiante and Kristina Worts scored three goals each in Pope John's 12-5 girls' lacrosse win over Vernon Township on Saturday, April 30.
Mairi Brooks and Maria Oliva scored two goals each for Pope John (12-1), and Alexis Chlodnicki and Caitlin McDonald scored a goal each. Goalkeeper Katie Callahan made five saves, including her 200th.
Mckenzie Alter scored two goals for Vernon (11-3), including her 100th in less then two seasons.
