Even though the golf season is winding down golfers and non-golfers still enjoyed the fun at the Bourbon, BBQ & 9 n Dine Golf Tournament event on Tuesday, Sept. 10. at the Black Bear Golf Club.
The party began with a 2 golfer team scramble played on the back 9 of Black Bear Golf Club.
After golf the golfers joined the many non-golfers who had arrived at the party to enjoy the great BBQ buffet dinner, drinks, bourbon tasting and the music provided by the popular Free Shrimp Band. The outstanding music was only interrupted briefly to recognize the winners of the 9 n Dine Golf Tournament and the golfers who demonstrated the greatest skill in a long drive and closest to the pin competitions.
The Daniels & Bonham team scored an even par 36 to take the win the prize for Men’s Long Drive going to Mr. Ferrucci. The winner of the Women’s Long Drive prize was Lisa Malnichuk with Mark Galluccio hitting a tee shot that landed 14’ 2” inches from the pin on hole #14 and Darren Rist hitting a tee shot that landed 9’ 4” from the pin on hole #11 to take the Closest to the pin prizes.
