OAK RIDGE — The Alonso Strong Golf Committee recently held a Golf Outing at the Bowling Green Golf Club in Oak Ridge where 90 golfers participated.
After play had been completed, a dinner was held. Mayor Russell Felter, as the Master of Ceremonies, welcomed everyone to the outing, introduced John Wroblewski as the Guest Speaker for the evening, awarded various prizes and thanked everyone for participating. As a result of the outing, approximately $7,500 was donated to the Alonso Strong Benefit Fund.
Fund raising activities for Sgt. Aaron Alonso are continuing.
