Hilltop Country Day School offers free Saturday cooking classes in addition to Mommy and Me and Daddy and Me classes. Cooking with teacher Christine DeStefano began this winter. Youngsters learn about the food groups, sing, cook and eat their creations. “The free classes began as an opportunity to give back to the community,” said Director of Admissions Lisa Tsemberlis. Future classes include art and seasonal activities. Summer programs will also be available. The school’s Spring Children’s Fair on April 25 will feature a wide array of activities and programs, also free to the public.
