During the one and only heat wave of the summer, the Ogdensburg Fire Department responded to call on Cedar Court at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. “The call was for smell of smoke,” said Captain Wottle. The homeowner said it was a bathroom fan overheating and most of the smoke dispersed before the firefighters arrived. After investigating and confirming the fan was no longer a threat the firefighters left. The entire incident was over in 20 minutes.
