Scouts hike and camp

The Scouts of Troop 48 along with Troop 8 from the Oranges camped out and hiked about 10 miles this past weekend at Camp Munsee in Hainsville. The Scouts enjoyed the outdoors and shared their scouting skills, worked on advancements and had a great time. Troop 48 serves the Wallkill Valley area and has a strong outdoor program based on family, faith and community. The Troop meets the first and third Monday of each month at St. Jude’s Church on Beaver Run Road in Hamburg.
