SCARC recognizes two 20-year employees

Augusta — Two SCARC employees have reached their 20-year milestone: Jeanne Austin of Frankford Township and Henny Sytsema of Wantage Township. Jeanne Austin has been employed since 1990 in the capacity of a Kids on the Block puppeteer and more recently as part of SCARC’s recreation staff. Currently she is an instructor in Saori weaving in SCARC’s recreation program. Henny Sytsema has been employed in SCARC’s human resources department at its Augusta headquarters and also has been employed since 1990. She will be retiring from SCARC in April. Both Austin and Sytsema will become members of the SCARC 20 Year Club, a group of 12 employees. Both honorees will receive a cash award and the applause of their fellow employees.
