SCARC hires new director

Christopher Hemmer, of Airmont, N.Y., has been hired as the SCARC Foundation director of development. He previously had been employed by Junior Achievement of New York as senior vice-president for development for the past 10 years. He was responsible for generating over $1.2 million through corporate contributions, as well as an additional $2 million from special events.
