SCARC Guardianship Services holds event
Augusta The SCARC Guardianship Services, Inc. Board of Trustees and staff recently gathered at Perona Farms, in Andover, with families served by the organization, along with the many friends of the 20-year-old organization. Linda McConville, Chief Executive Officer, said, “The success and growth in services provided by SCARC Guardianship Services, Inc. is due to the hard work of the dedicated Board of Trustees and staff. However, the success of our organization reaches far beyond the walls of our organization. Our success is also due to the unique community relationships and collaborative efforts we have established with those who have a history of supporting our organization.” Guest speakers for the event included Congressman Scott Garrett, James Drew and Susan Romano. SCARC Guardianship Services, Inc. provides professional guardians for adults with developmental disabilities. The organization has also assisted over 500 families with the process of becoming guardian of their adult child, as well as providing the services of a Community Trust agency.
