Saint Clare's annual ‘Saints-Classic' golf outing to be held Monday

DENVILLE — Donors, corporate sponsors, and friends of Saint Clare’s Health System and the Saint Clare’s Foundation will gather for the ninth annual Saints-Classic golf tournament on Monday, Aug. 24 at the Rockaway River Country Club in Denville. The event begins at 12 noon. Also returning in 2009 is the fifth annual Corporate Challenge. Corporate teams finishing with the lowest combined team scores in the low gross and low net categories will have their company’s or organization’s name inscribed on the Corporate Cup. Proceeds from this annual event benefit Saint Clare’s Health System programs and services. Bart Oates, former NFL start and New York Giants great, will also play. Depending on sponsorship and participation this year, each golfer will receive a shopping spree to the FootJoy/Titleist/Cobra retail tent that will be on-site at this year’s Saints-Classic.
