As part of a study of penguins and Antarctica, Melanie Bailey’s second-grade class at the Ogdensburg School collected more than 200 empty plastic jugs to build this igloo, constructed with the help of the class mothers, who got out their hot glue guns to make the form take shape. Students have offered to take the igloo home after the class is done using it but they have yet figured out how to get it out of the classroom.
