More than 140 families turned out March 4 for the annual family reading night at the Clifton E. Lawrence School to hear stories from other countries and cultures, read by a dozen enthusiastic volunteers. Rooms were decorated to fit the country themes. Teacher Mary Lou Mangan reads the book “The Banza,” a story from Haiti.
