Aug. 10 Shaun M. Wagner, 24, of Budd Lake was sentenced to three years probation, 30 days SLAP, intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment and $1,388 in fines. He pled guilty on June 30 to the crime of third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance and to a motor ticket for failure to maintain his lane. He was found to be in possession of one bag of heroin and several numerous empty bags of heroin following a motor vehicle stop on April 16 by Byram Police Officer Daniel DeWald. Christopher J. Schick, 45, of Newton was sentenced to four years state prison, $280 in fines and $4,500 in restitution. He pled guilty on July 6 to the third-degree crime of fraudulent use of a credit card and to the third-degree crime of burglary. He admitted to possessing and using a stolen credit card in Newton on Jan. 6, 2008. He also admitted to entering a home in Sussex for the purpose of stealing property inside of it on Feb. 21. Aug. 14 Thomas G. Sudduth, 33, of Lafayette was sentenced to two years probation, a substance abuse evaluation and treatment, $155 in fines and $187.66 in restitution. He pled guilty on June 22 to the third-degree crime of theft of movable property. He admitted to stealing hydrocodone from the Weiss Markets in Newton by posing as a HVAC repairman. The matter was investigated by Newton Police Detective Thomas Muller. Dominick Eadicicco, 24 of Shohola, Pa., was sentenced to three years probation, 60 days jail, $1,305 in fines and a six-month loss of driver’s license. He pled guilty on May 19, 2008 to third-degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and motor vehicle tickets for failure to exhibit insurance and driving while suspended. He admitted to possessing 23 bags of heroin following a motor vehicle stop in Sparta on Jan. 12, 2008. Aaron Lichtenstein, 49, of Patchogue, N.Y., was sentenced to two years probation, one day credit for time served in jail, 75 hours of community service and $388 in fines. He pled guilty on May 27, 2009 to the second-degree crime of unlawful possession of a weapon and a motor vehicle ticket for failure to maintain lane. He admitted to possessing an unloaded handgun during the course of a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 80 on April 8, 2008. Aug. 17 Shawn W. Collins, 19 of East Stroudsburg, Pa., pled guilty to burglary and possession of heroin, both crimes of the third degree. On Dec. 8, 2008 in Green Township, the defendant assisted a co-defendant who entered a residence without the homeowner’s consent or knowledge and stole a digital camera and jewelry by driving to and from the scene knowing a burglary was going to be committed. On June 4, 2009 in Hopatcong, he was found to be in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia while at a residence that police were called to regarding a possible drug overdose. Robert J. Burns, 23, of Franklin, pled guilty to burglary, a third degree crime. On May 29, in Wantage, he entered a residence without the owner’s knowledge or permission looking for marijuana. He admitted his actions to police in a written statement. Jessica L. Rank, 27 of Saylorsburg, Pa., pled guilty to three counts of burglary, all crimes of the third degree. On Dec. 3, 2008, May 9, 2009 and June 1, 2009 in Andover Township, Rank and a co-defendant entered the residence of her parents without their knowledge or permission, stole jewelry and coins and later pawned the items. She admitted her actions to police. Ashley M. Castro, 21 of Hopatcong, pled guilty to theft, a fourth degree. On July 9 in Hopatcong, she stole an X-Box 360 from her mother’s residence and sold it. She later admitted her actions to police. She was on probation at the time of the offense for taking several checks belonging to her mother, signing her mother’s name to them and cashing them. This occurred in Hopatcong between June 27 and July 10, 2007. Alivia Pandorf, 19, of Hopatcong pled guilty to the third degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. She admitted to possessing heroin in Hopatcong on June 7, following a motor vehicle stop. John M. Leonard, 21, of Hopatcong pled guilty to the third degree crime of receiving stolen property. He admitted to pawning stolen property on the behalf of another individual which had a value of $500 or more. Aug. 18 An indictment charges Danny Crossley, 20, of Newton, with third degree aggravated assault. Arraignment before the Superior Court in Newton will be within the next six weeks.
