Police investigate car burglaries

Hamburg — The Hamburg Police Department is investigating several burglaries to motor vehicles that have occurred this month to vehicles parked on Mulberry Street and in Heritage Lakes. Electronics including GPS units, radar detectors and cellular telephones have been reported stolen. Anyone with information regarding these burglaries or anyone who observes any suspicious activities, is asked to contact the Hamburg Police Department at 973-827-6211. Residents are reminded lock their vehicles and to remove their valuables prior to leaving their vehicles unattended.
