Peace through education

Students and staff at the Clifton E. Lawrence School raised more than $1,000 collecting Pennies for Peace last month. The program was initiated after the students read ‘Listen to the Wind’ by Greg Mortenson, in which he tells about how he and his non-profit organization build schools in remote villages in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
