New Town Manager quits

Vernon — Catherine Steinel, the newly hired Town Manager for Vernon quit after only holding the position briefly. She was reinstated to her position as adminsitrator for Hopatcong during a special meeting in that town on Monday, April 19. Vernon has advertised the position afresh and will discuss the topic during a special session tonight, Thursday, April 22 at 5 p.m., prior to the regular council meeting that begins at 7 p.m.
