New small and mid-sized business solutions group forms in Newton
SUSSEX COUNTY-The Alternative Board TAB, an organization that offers small to mid-size businesses real world business advice, has been launched in Newton. TAB brings business owners, CEOs and presidents of non-competing businesses together in boards, creating a confidential “think-tank” atmosphere. The boards consist of up to 12 members, meeting monthly under the guidance of a TAB-Certified Facilitator. Zickerman announced that Marcy Turkington, president of Achieve Business Solutions in Newton, was named the Northwest New Jersey TAB Facilitator. TAB Boards will meet monthly in the Northwest Jersey area, where board members will receive the benefit of the collective experience of the board. Turkington will also provide private one-on-one business coaching to each board member. Under Turkington’s guidance, Board members will learn from each other, and create new business solutions. “It’s the difference between theoretical advice and real-life experiences,” says Turkington, who has over 20 years of executive management experience. “You will learn from other peoples’ experiences, rather than reinvent the wheel. The key to the members’ business success stems from other successful business owners’ advice.” Over 300 TAB Boards are operating each month across the United States, Canada and South America. Since its inception, thousands of businesses have benefited from membership in The Alternative Board TABR. To introduce TAB, First Hope Bank of Newton will co-host TAB Informational Meetings on Oct. 19 and 25. There is no commitment or cost for attending. Seating is limited. To reserve a place, call Marcy Turkington at 973-940-2020.
