New Honor Society members

This group of new Vernon High members of the National Honor Society represents the school’s top-performing students. From left, Alyssa Morrissey, Ashleigh Berge, Caroline McDonald, Jessica Mills, Chelsea Marinaro, Shannon Buruchian, Nora Sweeney and Sarah Benefante. They were among a group of 26 recently inducted. Others new to the society this year are: Nicole Bekefi, Christopher DiPietro, Kathleen Flynn, Tracey Geary, Tyler O’Keefe, Brittany Parak, Sylvia Rusnak, Ann Yaccarino, Emily Burns, Kelly Callahan, Rena Dziopa, Sarah Gay, Allison Kahn, Jeffrey Owens, Maura Quinn, Jacob Schriner, Lora Urbaniak and Allison Zeedyk. The students received kudos from VTHS principal Tim Dunnigan and the new Superintendent of Schools, Dr. John Alfieri.
