Musical teens

Vernon Township High School students recently performed in the Northern NJ Area Band Concert at Mt. Olive High School. The students auditioned and were selected from among students all over Northern New Jersey. The following Vernon musicians, all members of the Symphonic Band, were selected: Back row, from left: Kunio Kohama, Matt Chastain, Dave Boehm, Eric Tarczynski, Andrew Rzezotarski. Front row, from left: Michelle Storms, Kristen Leidig, Alli Bicskei, Alex Gonzalez, Sarah Gay. In addition Brandon Ilaw was the only Vernon student selected to join the Wind Ensemble. He was not available for this photo. These students are under the direction of Max Taylor, Vernon High School’s band director.
