Mountain View Dr. goes public

WANTAGE-Mountain View Drive is now a Wantage public street. Mayor Parker Space and the committee unanimously passed into law the ordinance admitting the street at an April 21 township committee meeting. Mountain View Drive runs northwesterly off Libertyville Road (Route 650), between Hickory and Sherman Ridge Roads. Doherty reported that all the escrows for the homes on the street now had been transferred, and all required documentation is in order. Until recently, the developer had not submitted the necessary bonds and deeds, and that omission caused a delay in incorporating the street into the township.
