The Camp Jefferson Summer Day Camp will welcome pre-school children ages 3 and 4 who are toilet trained to attend camp this summer.

Camp runs for a total of nine weeks beginning on Monday, June 23, and ending on Friday, Aug. 22, with a camp day running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each weekday.

Pre-schoolers enjoy the same program as the older children in either a 5-day or 3-day program; and parents can choose from optional electives, sports clinics, before and after care, morning busing, and off-site trips (all incur additional fees). Pre-K to 2nd grade campers also can enjoy their own exclusive off-site trips to Giggles Play Station and Pump It Up and participate in an on-site visit of The Fun Bus and in an on-site special Lollipop Hunt activity.

Then from week to week, they will join the other campers in all special on-site events and activities that are included in the camp tuition – a camp opening and closing dance party, game tournaments, special snacks, Fire Company Wet Downs, patriotic projects, square dancing, a K-9 demonstration, a Chalk it Up Drawing Contest, dress-up day, Tweedles the Clown balloon animal creations, Wallaby Tales Live Animal Show, a Rock ‘n Roll interactive concert by Presley & Melody, game day, a Camp Jefferson Concert, the Counselor Talent Show, Carnival Day, the Camp BBQ, and more.

On a hot summer day, these little ones will keep cool in wading pools, water sprays, and slip ‘n slides and join in with all the other campers on the inflatable waterslide brought in each week. Regular activities they will participate in on a rotating schedule include art, boating, the playground, bubbles and games, music, field activities, the GaGa pit, various board games, and other activities conducive to their age. Then there’s always Story Time in the Library Cabin, perhaps Movie Time in the Camp Theater, and a little down time in their very own PK cabin.
