Workshop offered on the proper maintenance of home septic systems

In the final workshop of the Pike Conservation District's "How your Backyard Activities Affect your Lake" series, geologist Brian Oram with Water Research Center and B.F. Environmental Consultants will focus on the proper maintenance of home septic systems.
The free workshop will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19, at the Dingman fire hall, 680 Log Tavern Rd., Milford.
