Weichert branch to take part in walk-a-thon

HAMBURG — Victor Brown, manager of the Weichert, Realtors Hamburg office, recently announced his office will participate in the upcoming Gordon Shelton Memorial Walk-a-thon on Sunday, May 17, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Sussex County Fairgrounds.

The event, coordinated by the SCARC Foundation, Inc., will include a 1.8 mile walk, followed by a celebration including live entertainment, a free lunch, a DJ, a petting zoo, a bouncy house, as well as games, raffles and much more. All of the proceeds will go directly to The SCARC Foundation, Inc., to continue to improve the lives of over 750 persons with developmental disabilities.

“My team and I are honored to participate in an event that brings our community together for a safe, fun filled day,” Brown said. “In line with the Weichert culture, we are privileged to participate in an event that makes such a powerful impact and assist an organization that works so diligently to help those in need.”
