Wallkill Valley FBLA partners with YMCA

HARDYSTON — The Sussex County YMCA and the Wallkill Valley Regional High School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) partnered an event on Saturday, March 28, which focused on encouraging the community children to be active and healthy.

Fun, Active, Safe, Together enabled the children to swim in the pool and participate in group exercise, the youth room, and the activity room.

Wallkill Valley FBLA Membership Vice President Scott Mueller initiated the event, working closely in coordinating the program with Samantha Walter, YMCA school age child care and sports & enrichment director. Mueller was instrumental in ensuring a successful program. FBLA Members Carly DeOliveira and Kristen Bifano, who work at the YMCA, assisted with the children.
