Vernon D.O.G.S. of Vernon plans first aid seminar

D.O.G.S. of Vernon is hosting a free one-hour seminar on pet first aid on Thursday, Aug. 1, at 7 p.m. in the Vernon Senior Center.
The guest speaker is Dr. Stephanie Chlebowski Getz of Vernon Vet.
The seminar is ideal for any dog or cat owner that wants to learn more about what to do in an emergency. Attendees receive a handout on the various topics Chelbowski Getz will discuss.
This seminar is part of an educational series that D.O.G.S. of Vernon started last year with Pet First Aid, and continued this year with a Pet Nutrition seminar in May led by Amy Fiumarelli, owner of Amy's Animals Holistic Canine & Feline Nutrition Center in Wantage, NJ. This year’s Pet First Aid seminar includes some topics that were featured in last year’s, mixed in with some new topics
