Sussex Bank foundation donates to United Way

FRANKLIN — Sussex Bank recently held a golf outing to benefit its SB Foundation, Inc., which was able to more than double what it historically has raised for non-profit organizations and local scholarships.

The foundation's trustees recently donated $7,500 to the United Way of Northern New Jersey.

“On behalf of the United Way, we are ecstatic to receive this gift," said Mary Emilius, chief professional officer of the United Way. "It will really make a difference in our continuing efforts and support our mission."

The mission of the SB Foundation Inc. is to undertake fundraising activities and to receive voluntary contributions to provide support for philanthropic, benevolent, public health or social welfare organizations in the communities Sussex Bank serves.

“We are excited to be able to give-back to such a worthy cause and to make a positive impact in our community,” said Anthony Labozzetta, president and chief executive officer of Sussex Bank.
