Sparta Eye Associates welcomes Dr. Lisa Ruffle

SPARTA — Local optometrists Dr. Jeffrey Clauss, Dr. Diane Fabery and Dr. Bernard Mullin announce that Dr. Lisa Ruffle has recently joined their practice.

Serving northwestern New Jersey for more than 30 years, Sparta Eye Associates is one of the five offices of Primary Eye Associates, with offices in Sparta, Blairstown, Stanhope, Branchville and Califon.

Earning her Doctorate in Optometry at State University of New York (SUNY) in Manhattan, Ruffle’s clinical training included ocular disease management, primary eye care for pediatrics, including children with special needs, and fitting specialty contact lenses. She was also trained in hospital based optometry at the Lyons Veterans’ Administration Hospital and the East Orange Veterans’ Administration Hospital.

“I’m very excited to be practicing in Sparta and to be able to live in beautiful northwestern New Jersey," said Ruffle.

Ruffle and all the optometrists and staff at Sparta Eye Associates, provide comprehensive eyecare including ocular disease diagnosis and treatment, general eye examinations, contact lens fittings, emergency eye care, and pediatric eye exams. They examine patients of every age.

In addition, Ruffle also provides vision therapy for binocular disorders (eye teaming), accommodative disorders (eye focusing) and strabismus (eye turn).
