School officials host barbecue, campfire

OGDENSBURG — Ogdensburg School Superintendent Tim Nicinski and Vice Principal Stephanie Bonaparte hosted a barbecue and campfire at the school on Dec. 12.

The event was to honor students who have earned the Student of the Month Award and students that participated in the summer to help create the Character Education Recognition Program. The attendees enjoyed hamburgers and hot dogs and then roasted marshmallows to make s’mores. T

here was a DJ playing songs by request and the students even got third-grade teacher, Alina McGuire, to get in on the dancing.
